Who Has the Cheapest Car Insurance?

“Who has the cheapest car insurance? Is it possible to save money without sacrificing coverage? What can I do to ensure I get the cheapest car insurance possible?”

Auto insurance can be intimidating to a lot of people, and frustratingly expensive to many more. If you don’t want to let your yearly budget be controlled by thousands of dollars put towards car insurance coverage, then this article was written for you.

As you continue reading I’m going to outline the secrets and tips you should know to get the absolute dead cheapest car insurance available in 2012 and beyond.

But first, just for fun, I have a question for you…Who has the most expensive car insurance?

I’ll tell you:

A Single Teenage Guy in a Big City Driving a New Sports Car Who Drives His Friends to Work

A lot about the car insurance industry and car insurance prices is revealed by that answer. It outlines several critical elements that you need to understand before shopping for car insurance. Do you want to know what they are?

Do you want to know who has the cheapest car insurance, and how you can be one of those people? Well, to help you learn about finding cheaper car insurance, I’d like to outline a list of things NOT to do. Check it out:

  1. Don’t Be Male and a Teenager or Senior Citizen – This car insurance factor may not be under your control, but it still needs to be addressed. The cheapest auto insurance is available to women between the ages of 25 – 45. Any age over or under will be automatically more liable in the eyes of most car insurance companies.
  2. Don’t Drive a Brand New Sports Car – This one’s fairly obvious…A newer and nicer car will cost more to repair, so you need more coverage. Pretty simple correlation, there.
  3. Don’t Be ‘That Guy’ – The less people you drive around in your car the cheaper your insurance quote will be, so don’t be ‘that guy’ who’s always giving your buddies a free ride anytime, anywhere. The fewer people who’ll be in your car, the less risky you are as a driver.
  4. Don’t Live in a Big City – Big cities mean more stolen cars and more accidents…Auto insurance companies know this, and so should you. Serious about saving money? Live in a small or medium sized town.
  5. Don’t Let Your Car Fall Out of Maintenance – One of the easiest and most helpful (for yourself) ways to save money on car insurance is by keeping your car well maintained and running smoothly. Extra after-market safety features won’t hurt anything, either, and usually pay for themselves in saved insurance costs.
  6. Don’t Shop Anywhere in Person – Come on, this is the 21st century and shopping anywhere in person is quickly falling out of style. This is especially true for car insurance, where there are literally hundreds of insurance comparison services available online to help you find discounts, bonuses, and the all around cheapest car insurance there is.

So, who has the cheapest car insurance? I would argue that 9 times out of 10, the smartest and most diligent shopper will get the cheapest auto insurance. You just have to put in the effort to shop around and you can find some really great deals on auto insurance in 2012 and beyond.
